web 5.5
This site uses the latest in web technologies and advancements to improve and enhance your user experience.
You may have heard of the Web 2.0; the era of social networking, glossy graphics and commerical slickness. In the bad old days, there was even the Web 3.0. Then, when flat caps came back into fashion once again, everyone had a computer in their hat for Web 4.0. Then Web 5.0 came along when they finally immanentized the Eschaton. Well, that's all over now. The really cool people have already moved on to the Web 5.5; no silly misappropriated hats, no comments, no logins, no mindless chit-chat other than that which is offered by the owner of the site.
You will no longer have to listen to the inane commentary of the herd-like fools who populate the majority of the internet; we who are part of the Web 5.5 will provide all the inane commentary you need - one site at a time. There will only be graphics that actually serve a useful purpose or function, and there will be no adverts, no flash content, and no buttons to 'Dig this Post', 'Follow me on Facebook' or any nonsense like that.
Say goodbye to Farcebook, au reviour Flickr, so long Mydeadspace, be gone Bebo, adios Twatter. Come, fellow misanthropes and curmudgeons, we are reclaiming the internet in order to lord it over the masses once more. This is anti-social no-net un-working, and it is the future. (The future is now, though, so you'd better get used to it nice and quick, before it changes again).
